The New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium has been exploring ways to expand instruction in the less-commonly taught languages (LCTLs) through various instructional collaborations.  Several of these pilot courses and proposals have been modeled after a shared course initiative pioneered by Columbia, Cornell and Yale Universities.

David is dean and professor of law at the University of Minnesota Law School and an authority in international law.
