NY 6 International Students To Take a Field Trip

Sixty international students from across the New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium will be getting together to network, learn more about the history and geography of upstate NY, and have fun. On Saturday, June 23, the group will gather at the Herkimer Diamond Mines. Over lunch at the Miners' Table, they will brainstorm ideas for the International Student Summit, which will be held in the fall at Hobart & William Smith Colleges. Once lunch is finished, they will head out to the mines to search for diamonds.

The day will be capped off with a 90-minute fully-narrated boat ride on the Erie Canal. In addition to viewing historic sites and learning more about this iconic transportation route, they will have the opportunity to pass through Lock 18.

This event is sponsored NY6 Field Trip to Tupper Lake NY, 2015by the New York Six, with support from each member institution. For more information, please contact Deanna McCay at dmccay@newyork6.org.
