Study Abroad Collaboration

Across the New York Six, it is possible for students to study on six of the world's seven continents.  While individual colleges cannot offer this breadth of programming on their own, we hope to open up programs to students across the Consortium on a space-available basis.  As part of this effort, we are building off of the experience of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and Union College, which together established the successful Partnership for Global Education with the support of the Mellon Foundation.  One of the Partnership's programs, a fall term abroad in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has recently been added to the list of programs open to students across the New York Six.  For more information on the Brazil program, please visit Union College's Brazil Program Site or Hobart and William Smith College's Brazil Program Site.  A brief promotional video and recorded information session are available online.  For more information about this or other open programs, or about the Study Abroad Collaboration project, please contact Nell Bartkowiak, Project Manager.
